Uniden FP204 - my phone has lost all of the phonebook. when I go into phonebook the dial shows time and date, then in the centre shows 2002 and displays SET TIME I cannot gain access to any other functions....

Hi,

Offhand, the phone looks like has a corrupted memory or a systems glitch. initially, this would require a reset. Of course doing so would revert the unit back to factory default condition and all personal settings/configurations would be erased. Additionally, it would probably be helpful to check if the unit has a built-in memory battery that may be nearing end of its life.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

TOMY TD300(71028) Baby Monitor. Lost connection. How do I pair the units?

This answer will probably be too late for you but maybe helpful to others. I had the same issue with my TOMY 71028 and was able to resolve it with a little bit of experimentation.

The connection Information between both devices is lost. You can reestablish this connection by starting both units in a special mode that is not described in the manual.

Press the power and the light button at the same time. The hand unit will start and scan for a base station. You can see the power and the light button blinking alternately.

Start the baseunit the same way.

Now they will try to reconnect and reestablish the pairing information.

This is at least how i fixed mine.

Setting cooking time

It depends on the brand and model of your pressure cooker. If it's a stovetop pressure cooker, you start counting the cooking time once the cooker has reached pressure (check your manual for details).

If it is electric you should push either the +, or "cook time" button.

All of this information should be in your pressure cooker's manual. If you lost it, you can find an electronic copy of it here:

I lost the password and need to reset it. Please help.

I contacted Sharp Tech support who told me to:

Touch the reset button on the back of the unit. The display will show "RESET?"

Touch the 2nd tab on the front of the unit.

Touch ENTER

This will reset the unit to factory settings. All information will be lost, but you will be able to use the unit again. I did this and it worked beautifully.

Don't know how to set the time/clock.

Setting the Clock
Before operating the unit any further, first set the clock built
in this unit.
• When the unit is turned on with CD or tuner selected, press
DISPLAY first to show the clock indication.
1 Press and hold PROGRAM/SET
for more than 2 seconds.
The hour digits start flashing on the
display.
2 Press 4 or ¢ to adjust
the hour, then press
PROGRAM/SET.
The minute digits start flashing on the
display.
3 Press 4 or ¢ to adjust
the minute, then press
PROGRAM/SET.

If there is a power failure
The clock loses the setting and is reset to “AM 12:00.” You need to
set the clock again. If the batteries are inserted in the unit, this has
no effect on the memory.
To show the clock when CD or tuner is selected
Press DISPLAY.
• Each time you press the button, the display changes the clock
indication and the normal indication alternately. (Operating the
unit while clock indication is displayed change the display to the
normal indication.)
