Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Four weeks ago I bought a Sony PSP from a large department store in Dubai whilst I was on vacation. (We live in Senegal, west africa)so no chance of returning the unit to Dubai. The unit stopped reading the discs..I contacted Sony, and after a series of buck passing basically said they have no service in Africa or the middle east and they can't help. I contacted the shop in Dubai, but they said they couldn't help, as the cost of sending the unit back was in excess of $100 each way. What I want to know, will I be able to get the reader fixed in USA, when I inspected the instructions it was written in chinese and I am none the wiser. It is a genuine product and I paid over $330us. My little boy who has waited 1year to get the unit is distraught and I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any advice. Wendy
Wendy The best thing you could do to answer your Question is to call sony and ask if this model can be repaired in the US under warrantee as you did by it in good faith. If they say ok its still gonna cost to ship it unless you can have someone bring it to the states. Good Luck

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
