My camera doesn't want to stay on when it is turned on. And it immediately turns off.
Problem for Kodak EasyShare V550 Digital Camera
All of a sudden, camera went dead. Won't turn on.
I just purchased my V530 Kodak and about two days ago, I used my camera to record small video and when I got home, it was dead...completely. So I tried recharging but nothing happens...it doesn't even make the sound it used to make when I inserted it into its cradle.
Is this a common problem? I need some help, for I don't believe I bought warranty for it!

unless the bill says as is then by law theres at least a 30 day warrantee. I would contact where you bought it or contact the manufacturer and tell them the store wont exchange it if thatsd wjhat they say and if you have a bill of sale and as long as it dosent say as-IS then the manufacturer will cover it undere warrantee. contact them here at this #800-242-2424, or look in the owners manual for repair info.
