Hi,
it's not a hardware-problem - it's a windows feature monitor will not restart after sleep mode - smile_wink.gif - (and it really is one !) - please try this:
To prevent a USB mouse from waking your PC

1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

2. In the list of device categories, expand Mice and other pointing devices.

3. Right-click the entry for the USB mouse, and then click Properties.

4. On the Power Management tab, clear the Allow this device to wake the computer check box.

5. Click OK.
Don't forget to do this with your mouse + keyboard !

Monitor does not come on after computer changes from sleep mode

Pressing the space bar or moving the mouse will bring the computer out of sleep.
But if the monitor is still off then possibly the monitor has gone to sleep. Restart the monitor.

you might pressed a key on the monitor repress it and enable the monitor or else just remove ram from the cpu and clean it and replug it might it solve your problem

the last solution is to just format your pc

My monitor keeps saying monitor going to sleep waht do u o

It shows that the monitor is going to the power saver mode.It is not a problem of the monitor. This happens when there are no signals received on the monitor. It turns back to the normal mode when a signal is received on it.

Compaq SR5510f,ATI4550HD no display after resume from sleep mode

Have you tried a beefier power supply? Between the processor and the video card you have, you may be right at the minimum to run the machine. Ive had similar problems with machines in the past and they have all been resolved with more powerful power supplies. Step up to a 600 watt or higher supply and see how things go. Good luck.

HP monitor staying in sleep mode

I don't know if this qualifies as a solution or not, but to-date, the only solution I have found has been to never upgrade the video driver beyond the original "Spring 2007 Original NVIDIA Graphics Driver", installed via sp26865.exe that I got from HP support when my system was new. This file does not appear to be available now, but the support group may give it to you on special request.

Every time I "upgrade" the NVIDIA drivers, my monitor will not come out of sleep mode and only restoring to the original will work. I do not know if the upgraded driver fixes any of the advertised problems or not since I do not seem to suffer them.

No DVi input, then computer goes to sleep

Hi publicworker,

I had a similar problem whereas my monitor went to sleep mode after a few minutes. I'm running an HP LP 2065 in dual mode with another HP flat screen. However, I did resolve the issue after resetting the output settings.

How to do that:
  • right mouse click on the desktop
  • select graphic options
  • output to
  • extended desktop
Maybe some changings/modification will help you too.
