Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Sanyo mini-split indoor fan motors operate continuoulsy. The room-temperature sensor is inside the unit, so the fan motor needs to circulate air continuouly to sense room-air temperature. This is normal operation.

Why does the unit keep on switching off after running for 2 minutes

Do not know what brand or model your aircon unit is? Sounds as if the temperature you want your unit to run at has already been reached. You need to follow these steps:
- select the temperature you want
- select the icicle icon for cool or thermometer icon for hot.
- select "auto" for your unit to cut in, or to cut off to keep your desired room temp.
For example - hot day 26 degrees and you want the temp in the room to drop to 19 degrees - the unit will shut off once it reaches 19 degrees if it is set to "Auto". Hope this gives you some clues to get it working. Please tick my this helped me box if my tips work. Good luck Gerri.

At night its shuts down when the therm is satisfied, but trys to restart right away and when it does start it shuts down right away and just keeps doing this

The thermostat has a differential built into the temperature sensing operation. The differential is normally a degree or more. If the stat shuts down at 72 degrees it should not start the unit again until the temperature in the room reaches 73. If the AC runs and cools properly until it shuts down, I would check the thermostat. The AC can not restart immediately after it shuts off because the pressures in the system are too high at the compressor. It takes a few minutes for the pressures equalize allowing the compressor to start. If the stat tells the unit to start under high pressure, the compressor will shut down on overload. It will start and run after the pressure falls enough for the compressor motor to run.

My split type airconditioning unit is not consistent with its cooling system..its automatically shutting down its coolness..what to do?

Hi, make sure you have a clean filter. Wash the outdoor units condenser coil, as they will get dirty and cause it to shut off on high head pressure. Turn off the power first. Careful not to use to much water pressure as you don't want to bend the fins. These are things you can do. Other than that, it takes a qualified tech to go any further. Check these things and keep me posted. The temperature between the return air at the filter and supply air temperature is between 18 to 25 degrees F. This is called your T.D.or temperature split. Keep me posted on what you find.
Sincerely,

Furnace burner turns off and on

The furnace is likely over heating and the high temp. safety is shutting it down. It then cools and starts again. Things to check: Filter, Blower wheel and indoor A/C coil. If any or all are dirty you are limiting air flow and need to clean them.
