Very delicate piece of equipment and dropping it will cause internal damage. dismantling it may help, do you have the proper equipment and the know-how ? else better have it checked.
The lens mechanism is jammed or broken, the camera needs to be taken apart and inspected. I would suggest agains it, as these things may break easyly or you might not get it back together.

Well there are a few things you can try at your own risk:
Tap the camera on the sides, keep turning it on and off, maybe it might unjam, of if broken it wont do any good.
Take the camera apart and inspect the lens mechanism, if parts are broken you need to replace them.
You can even try rotating the lens yourself, to the direction it rotates, this is a little risky and might make it worse so try at your own risk.
