Question about Logitech X-540 Computer Speakers
Bought the X-540 almost a month ago, and i had no problems until today. I was watching a movie, when all of a sudden (it coincided with loud cheers from the movie itself ) the right surround speaker started making these crackling sounds. There is no noise or anything when there is nothing playing, so i don't think it's the sound card (asus xonar dx, btw), so i'm guessing something's wrong with the speaker, cause the crackles aren't going away!
Use a headset or ive been using my kareoke! Use a 1\4 inch guitar patch cord get a 1\8 inch jack atradio shack plug 1 end that has the 8th adapter on it into your tablet i believe yor speakers r bbbblown blown like mine

Your speaker is busted. You will need to get another one. It really can not be repaired and if it can, it will cost more than a new speaker.
