Question about Pioneer DV-366K DVD Player
Hi, my Pioneer DV-366 dvd player just suddenly stopped working. It comes on but only displays the words: 'Welcome, then Pioneer' on it's screen and nothing on the tv. Tried unplugging it couple of times, still the same.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

SOURCE: dvd no picture just sound
When you say No picture?? s the Picture all black Like theres no video? Try checking the video input on the tv or the cables from the player. If the inputs and cables are bad then theres a poroblem in the video processor in the dvd player and the only way to vix that would be to get a schematic diagram and a scope and trace out the video and see where it disapears. Good Luck

try pressing the next >> button whilt switching on the unit from the stand by button, keep pressing and see if it changes from NTSC to PAL. This is applied so to see if the CPU is faulty or not, to try wake him up and search other internal routines. Patrick

According to what I learned from Pioneer parts department the infared deam/light/reader has burned out. Cost of replacement is from 59.99 to 89.99 it shouldn't be to difficult to replace if you have some type of mechincal aptitude.
