Question about Makita 6932FDWDE 14.4V Impact Driver
Could also be a faulty switch, only working in one direction. Also check to make sure the forward/reverse lever is connected properly and moving the appropriate part of the switch.

Your drill probably has a bad or stripped drive gear. Does the drill operate in forward w/a battery that is not fully charged but yet good.?
