I don't have a DCR PC 100e, but be aware the main battery in the camera also can be dead. If so, the voltage needed to charge the internal battery, can't be reached. Normally the main battery, should be capable of recharging the Vanadium-lithium battery, without the charger connected.
Just sit out the 24 hours, but be prepared to replace perhaps both batteries. The main and the internal. Not sure you can replace the internal battery yourself.

Te-8500f

It uses a special Vanadium Pentoxide Lithium battery. It is available from Casio register dealers. If you are changing it yourself, make sure you have the power TURNED ON in reg mode while changing it. It has to have power to keep the memory while the battery is being changed or you lose the program.

How do i change internal battery on sony DSR250

Hi babu50,

Well the battery in your camera is a (vanadium-lithium rechargable battery, and from what I am aware is and should be recharge only.

I understand from a friend who had one of your camera type that it is not replacable because it is built-in, even Technician people with all the gear wont normaly replace that.

If your camera is not keeping it's setting eg. time, date etc (which that battery helps keep) then the chances are it has either come lose of it's fixings, or packed up working, though the first option is more like to have happened.

I think you should charge your camera in mains for a min of 24 hrs, even if it tells you it's full.
I had to do that with my camera 8 years ago.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.

2SO2 + O2 -------> V2O5 2SO3 which of the chemical symbols is the catalyst?

(s) + O2(g) -----> SO2(g)
The gases are mixed with more air then cleaned by electrostatic precipitation to remove any particulate matter
The mixture of sulfur dioxide and air is heated to 450oC and subjected to a pressure of 101.3 - 202.6 kPa (1 -2 atmospheres) in the presence of a vanadium catalyst (vanadium (V) oxide) to produce sulfur trioxide, SO3(g), with a yield of 98%.
2SO2(g) + O2(g) -----> 2SO3(g)

My internal backup battery is dead, can anyone tell me where to find the specs to replace the internal battery? and what type of internal battery is it? Thanks

If it's been a few months since you have used the camera it's normal to be dead.
Charge the camera and use it and the clock battery should come to life.

The camera will work fine even if the battery does not work, however, you will not be able to record time and date.

Hi. I have a Casio CE-3700 that is only used for a few weeks of the year. Once I month I try to turn on the machine and leave it powered up for around a day. I am now wanting to actually use the machine....

It sounds like the machine has lost some programming. What you were doing once per month is what I recommend if not used regularly, but the battery has probably now got to the stage where it is too old to even hold charge for a month. It is probably best to get the battery (internal vanadium type) replaced as it may have started leaking if it is too old. The dealer who replaces it can reset your decimal places at the same time. If you just want to get it running as is and take a chance, then do the flag clear (to get the FFFFFFFFFF on display then SUBTOTAL) on one of your WORKING machines, and tell me the big number that it prints out (this will not lose any data on your working machines, it just reads the settings)

MY COPIER SAYS "MAKING SPACE IN MEMORY" HOW DO I CLEAR THE MEMORY?

If the machine remains without power for a
specific period of time (about 2 hr or more)
while an image exists in its memory, the
power of the vanadium lithium secondary
battery (BAT2) will become exhausted. A
report will automatically be generated when
the machine is turned on.
or
When the jumper plug (JP1) is removed, all data in
control memory will be lost. Therefore, do not
disconnect the jumper plug (JP1). The data stored in
the SRAM is as follows:
- user data (data indicating user mode settings)
- service mode deta (data indicating service mode
settings)
- control data (communications control record of most
recent 20 communications, system dump record)

Laptop clock zeros when laptop is switched off

The most likely problem is an internal battery. This is a fairly small battery, similar to a watch battery. It should be accessible from one of the panels that unscrew on the bottom of your laptop.
