Question about KitchenAid Superba Architect KSCS25INSS Side by Side Refrigerator
The LED red light blinks 2 times when door is open. I have removed the ice making unit (unplugged the wiring harness) and also unplugged the Refriderator from the wall (120V source).
This worked one time, and ice was made for a couple of days. Not very much ice, maybee a couple tray fulls. Now there is ice/cubes in the tray, but will not eject. What can I do to get the unit to cycle (eject cubes) and start another batch. This seems to be a very common problem on the net.
I am farily proficient in electronics, so if there is a way to test resistance on the unit to determine root cause, please advise. Is it the icemaker, the Refridgerator, or wiring disconnects.
I have the exact same problem. If you figure out what happened, and why we are not getting any ice, please let me know. I can be reached by e-mail at Hengels@ameritech.net. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer to get the ice maker working again.
Thank You in Advance,
