It's not the laptop that does anything, it is software that make things work, you need Adobe Acrobat PDF convertor or a similair free programme downloadable here for example, if you search the net you will find many

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Service Manual for the Toshiba Satellite A215 series of Notebook PC's,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-toshiba

Under the main heading - Toshiba, go down to the subheading -
Satellite A10. (A10 in blue)
Go across, and click on A215. (In blue)

This is a PDF file. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.
After you click on the file name { A215 }, it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.

The motherboard diagram follows this diagram,

The CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 TL-58, (Turion Core ), mobile Processor,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_mobile_microprocessors#.22Tyler.22_.2865_nm.29_2

Processor has two processor cores that can operate up to 1900MegaHertz, or also stated as 1.9GigaHertz.
(1900MHz/1.9GHz)

Does Not mean a total of 3.8GHz.
Total is still 1.9GHz. It's just two processor cores teaming up on the same task.

Chip and Chipset denote I.C.
Integrated Circuit.

The motherboard chipset is an ATI RX-690 (Southbridge chip is ATI SB600 )

I need to use recovery disc on my laptop 1410/2410 Toshiba

Power down the notebook, as soon as you power it up continually keep tapping on the 0 (zero) key. You should see "Hard disk drive recovery mode"

The "recovery mode" will bring your notebook back to factory default settings so please save your data because you will lose it.

In case Toshiba changed the older models,(which seems to be the case) here is a link to a pdf file from Toshiba

My Toshiba laptop shows an icon for Acrobat.com, does that mean I can do PDF files on it and if so how do I do it? What do I have to do to be able to put any of the files into PDF form to send them?

Acrobat only reader PDF files type. if u want to write PDF files then you need a converter call word to pdf converter. this software convert any word documents to PDF files. its simple, its just like printing. all u need to do is open your word document then file--->print, there u will find options to choose your printer. in the list of printer you will find the converter software there, select it and click on print. it will make a PDF file
