Question about Bissell 1200B Handheld Steam Vacuum

Open Question

Bissell Little Green turbobrush not spinning

After cleaning up dog accidents and vomit a few times, I began to get tired of the stench that would come from the unit every time I turned it on, since I never thoroughly washed the unit out. So I mixed up some bleach and water, and sucked that through the unit (including the turbobrush), then repeated several times with clean water to rinse out the bleach. The good news is that the smell is gone, but now my turbobrush spins very slowly, if at all. The gears seem to be spinning, but I guess not quickly enough. Did I accidentally clean out some lubrication in the drive gears? The rotating brush section seems difficult to move by hand, but I never tried to do it before, so I'm not sure how it's supposed to be.

FWIW, I let the brush dry out thoroughly, and now it works just fine.
