Question about Samsung YP-T8 Digital Media Player

Menu will not display.

After downloading a picture the screen will not display the menu. Only the picture that was downloaded is displayed. I do not want to it the reset button or I will lose everything I have saved. What can I do to fix this problem. Please help?

You may not have much of a choice. Look in the insruction manual on how to save to a compter> try to save all the datas thats on that drive and then do a reset. If that dosent work then try calling the manufacturer and tell them your delima . Maybe they have a secrit button pressing wayt to reset without loosing data? 1-800-SAMSUNG. Good luck

First of all, I hope you mad a backup of it's content, becouse there is
no other way, it need to be fomated from it's service menu.

1. Make sure bthat your Zen is turned off and has a full battery.
2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button and Back/Options button simultaneously.
The Recovery Mode screen appears when the player, and three menu items are shown: Clean Up, Format and Reboot.
Format your ZEN and then do a clean up.
5. When done reboot.
6. Hook it up to your computer an reflash to the latest firmware, you can download the tool here to flash your firmware:

How to Change the Display Settings for your MP3 Player |

You can personalize your music player by changing the appearance of your background. This will also help you to read the screen while making the icons easier to see.Follow the instructions below to change the display settings on the device.

1.Turn on your MP3 player and use your keypad to select "Setup." Push the center button on your keypad to highlight "Display" on the Setup menu.

3.Scroll down the menu to the "Brightness" options. Press the right arrow on your keypad to increase the screen's brightness, or press the left arrow to dim the screen.

Its stuck in disk mode screen displays a check mark that says ok to disconnect player wont turn off or go to menu screen

Try resetting it. Hold down the middle and menu buttons at the same time and it should reset itself. Then it should go to the main menu. Good Luck!

My zen mosaic MP3 player by Creative no longer displays a menu

Try rebooting trough Safe Mode. Turn on while holding Reset and Play/Pause. Option 4 (reboot) should help.

You can go into the settings menu and change your backlight and screensaver settings so that it doesn't go off every 5 seconds. Your user manual, which I have provided a link for here, will show you exactly how to do this:

No radio

If you go to the menu, and hit system, then hit display settingsand finally hit configure menu it should bring u to a checklist page....if u scroll down to FM Radio, that box should be checked...if not than check the box and bac out bac into the menu screen....FM radio should now b there!

Changing the color of my display screens

download the firmeware archive from samsung k3 mp3 site.
-unzip these files to your deskpot
-choose the blue unziped file in your deskpot, copy it with a right click, now conect the mp3 player, go to my computer; look for the k3 device (double click) and paste in it the file doing right clik. once copied you can disconect the device and re-start it. the screen color will change to blue.
