HI  Make sure that both water faucets are turned on and that the drain and soap-saver return hoses are properly extended, without kinks. If the washer has a water-saver button, make sure the button is depressed; water may not circulate through the filter nozzle if the basket is not full and the button is not depressed.
To make sure the water is the proper temperature, check the temperature selector switches on the control panel to make sure they're properly set. Also check the water heater temperature control. It should be set no lower than 120 degrees F.

Regularly clean the top and door of the washer to prevent the buildup of dirt and detergent. When you wash very linty materials, remove lint from the tub after removing the laundry. Soap deposits may cause laundry to smell bad. To solve this problem, fill the tub with water and add 1 pound of water softener or 1 gallon of white vinegar; then run the machine through the complete wash cycle. If the deposits are really bad, wash the inside of the tub with a solution of household ammonia and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe the tub with liquid bleach. Caution: Rinse the tub thoroughly before wiping it out with bleach. Ammonia and bleach can combine to form a very dangerous gas.
THANKS...........

Indesit WIXL85 water level

On a normal wash cycle, you will see very little if any water sloshing around, this is quite normal on todays washers.
You shuold see a lot more on the rinse cycle, as it is a higher fill.
It is usual to more less fill the compartment with powder, unless you are only washing a few items, then half fill it.
Hope this helps.

Most soap drawers have a plastic latch which needs to be pressed to release it.

You will find that there is a ball of soap congealed in the back of the dispenser drawer

Indesit WIA102 keeps draining, even when washing

Try lifting the drain outlet higher than it is, if it is too low the water will syphon out as it is filling, there by causing the problem you are experiencing, if that does not solve the prob, then it sounds like the pump is on all the time, this being the case, then it would appear that it has a faulty programmer.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Selector knob on my Indesit Washing Machine WI 121 keeps turning & light flashes twice before light turns off. This happens approx 4 times in a whole turn of the knob. Indesit want £100 to come out to fix!...

Two flashes while the dial rotates on an Indesit WI121 relates to a problem with 'Motor jammed or tacho short or open circuit'

I traced the fault to a dry soldering joint at a relay on the control board. After checking the non-component side of the board I could see blackening around one of pins where it had not been soldered properly.
It was easily fixed by re-soldering the joint.

Indesit wax120 dial keeps turning and clicking when attempting a wash cycle. Does this on all cycles. Water enters the powder drawer then dial just starts to rotate and click on every setting.

these machines are a pain for this. you can only check the obvious - check filter not blocked, power up pump independantly and check it works, check heater element. if all these ok then fault is probably in module - if so, not worth repair

Fabric softener compartment problem.

I have this problem as well.. All washing machines manufactured nowadays are energy effficient, which means that they don't use as much water as the older models. This can result in a build-up of bacteria in the top part of the washing machine, which is clogging up the bit where the water comes through to flush the fabric conditioner into the drum. What I have to do every so often, is to take the top off the washing machine and clean out the layer of black slime that has built up, blocking the holes where the water goes into the washing machine. Another contributory factor is that the usual program used is a 40 degree wash, which is not hot enough to completely flush the machine through. Manufacturers recommend running a 90 degree wash once a month with just washing powder in iit, no clothes. Hope this is some help

probable cause is just poor water flow from outside. switch water off. undo hoses and check not kinked. in each hose, there should be a gauze filter. clean this. look inside the valve spigot and check no dirt buid-up. put hoses in a bucket and check water flow is ok. remove drawer and check holes in top of box are clear

Drum filling up

Could be anything, Programmer, Pressure switch, etc.. Depending on age of machine. If more than a few years old I would check to see if the pressure switch tube, or reservoir, is blocked with powder or gunge. Tom.
