ASUS Z91H PUSHED POWER BUTTON BUT WITHOUT DISPLAY

Temitope, Hard reset. Open computer, remove battery,hold power button down (((1 minute))), reinsert battery, reassemble laptop, push/hold power button a couple seconds.
2nd fix, try to boot laptop without hdd.(hard drive). Remove the hdd, then turn on the laptop.. then it can get into the bios.. reset the bios to the default setting, turn off the laptop, and then turn it on again with hdd reinstalled. This seems to be what works in the forums with this issue found in Asus laptops. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

Asus laptop not booting

Near the eject button (on the same face as the eject button) there should be a pin hole. Use a straigtened paper clip to force the ejection of a stuck disk. It may also work even without a disk stuck. ( I just tried it on the drive of the laptop.)

Mabie power buton is broken or else.... but i need to know what is your asus pc model...

If its still in warranty, try calling the Technical support of your laptop's manufacturer.They will help you over the phone or if possible take a remote access of your computer and resolve the issue for you.

You may try this; Turn OFF the laptop, remove the power sources (ac adapter and battery). Without power sources, hold power button 10 secs. Put back the power sources, and power ON the NB. If the laptop will not boot by doing this, take it to the nearest repair center or contact ASUS (if in warranty) to have it check for LCD problem.

laura_vangun, Make sure that ALL the connection points are clean and dust free. also check to see if any gold contacts are bent or broken or have been pushed further into the plastic body of the connectors. (all the connector pins should be same height) If problem persists then try connecting ASUS to KNOWN GOOD desktop pc to see if it still won't display an image of the desktop. Also tell me AGE and or approximate total "on" hours of use this unit has on it. Is it still under warranty? What EXACTLY do you see or hear when you push the "ON/OFF" button to start(power-up) your ASUS unit? Problem: An update being pushed out to EEE PC 701SD causing machine not to load to full GUI
Symptom: Machine will start to load into GUI but will get stuck after loading taskbar.
To fix:
Open the Terminal window by pressing Ctl-Alt-T.
Enter the command 'sudo apt-get remove asus-p901-system-update azurebt'
Press power button to turn off machine.
Turn machine back on, open the terminal window again with Ctl-Alt-T.
Enter the command 'sudo apt-get install asus-eeepc-core'
Restart the machine.

you need to replace the Power button...
