I have just got a new desktop and it runs windows vista. Cannot instal my quickcam 9.0.2 camera with the old xp cd as it says that there are known compatability issues. Are there any updates I can download?
-   I have a Logitech QuickCam Express 9.0.2 webcam and it isn't compatible with windows vista...I went to the Logitech site and found the same model camera and installation drivers (I don't have the cd it came with) and despite knowing they weren't compatible with vista I downloaded them anyway (for xp)...needless to say after installation the webcam wouldn't work
I couldn't find any vista downloads for this model or vista add-ons to make it work...would anyone know what else I can do besides upgrading my webcam? Logitech doesn't seem to have any vista-supported software for this model but I'm hoping another website might.
Oh and the strange thing about it all...this webcam works on vista using yahoo messenger but not with its own software...It works perfectly on yahoo but I can't take still pictures with it

You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA
driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install
the program.
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you
to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
