Problems with Fujifilm finepix A340 camera

I have the following camera that has been working fine, but after the last time I connected it to my PC to download my pictures, it seems to be stuck in USB mode. I have tried removing the battries in a hope it would reset but no joy. How can I sort this out so that I can use the camera again? Thanks and regards, Allison

These cameras have a cap that is used for the memory. I think they need to be left a few days with no batteries in it before it discharges. Remove the batteries and then try and turn it on push buttons and stuff and let it sit a few days. What happens when you plug the USB cable back in? Have you tried fresh batteries? can you format the memory card?

I cant take a picture with my FUJIfilm Fine Fix A340. Card full.

You need to clean some space to your card by uploading the pics to a computer or deleting them from the card. Or you can buy a new card.

Could fujifilm finepix A340 supports 1gb xd m+ type card?

Yes, if you update the firmware to ver. 1.22

You may have to use an AC adaptor for this operation.

Fujifilm takes Disorted photos

How old are your camera and memory card? Both will eventually wear out. Digital cameras are generally good for so many shots. The same goes with the cards. I would personally try a new card and see if it helps.

I cannot get card to work in my fuji finepix a 340 says write error inserted Olympus Xd picture card . ASfter attemting to take picture, rec'd message that it could not initialize.

If your new xD card is an "H" or "M" type card, it is only compatable with the A340 following a firmware upgrade to the camera. http://www.fujifilm.ca/x3721.xml is a link to the software and steps you can take to perform the upgrade.

A340 camera

Update Firmware.

I went to fujifilm website and followed the instruction they provided there. The new XD card worked after I installed the new firmware.
