I have a Royal Satellite II typewriter that was working at my son's, but when I brought it home - when I try turning in on, it won't do anything. Any suggestions? Thanks, Don

Check to be sure the power cord is connected securely and that the top cover is closed securely.

If there is no noise, movement or lights the power supply is most likely bad. If you pack it well and ship it to us we will give you a free estimate. It won't cost anything unless you choose to repair it.

The printwheel has lost it's home position. Release the lever holding the printwheel, remove it and re-install it. Push the lever toward the platen to lock it in. Turn the typewriter on. The printwheel should spin, the carriage should move to the left and the come back to the left margin. You should be OK after that. Let me know if it helps or not Ed
