HOW DO YOU RESET IT FOR THE CANON COPIERS?

You have to go into service mode and reset the counter. Usually those numbers are used for service technicians to keep track of the counts.

Do you know how to get into service mode on that copier?

I have to agree with the guest but in case you really want to know:

To get into service mode press the clear key. Press interrupt. Press 0. Press interrupt.
All counter reset codes start with the number 24. So put that in first and press the start button.
Then type in a 1 press start.
Then type in a 2 press start.
Do this for numbers 3-11 and 13.
That will reset all of the counters on the copier.
Turn off the power once you're done.

Resetting the copy count is frowned upon. Changing the meter is like changing the milage on you car, when you sale it......... Just sell it as used or even better reconditioned.

After a power outage my printer is flashing H 4 can you tell me whats wrong? The printer is a Sharp AR-153E

Enter the serviceman simulation mode, press the keys as follows:
Clear → Density select → Clear→ Density select
then enter 14 and hit start. This will clear the H4 (low temperature) code. If you still have a problem, the code will come back. Then you will have to replace either the thermastat (fuse), thermistor or possibly the heat lamp.

The printer cannot print and show "L" in the number display.

Is the copier just stirring and making a noise? If so it is tring to add toner, but it can not find any.. The meter count or yield of a toner cartridge is rated at only 6% cover of a whole page. Your guess is as good as mine what are you coping mostly black/dark copies? it will be used up quicker.
