Question about Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera
I have an canon rebel xti camera. when i use on auto mode or even manual mode, the pop up flash which is supposed to be i-ttl doesnt fire an evalutive burst to analyse the lighting condition- hence the pictures appear underexposed.
What is the problem and solution to the same.
sometimes when i keep my hand in front of the lens and half press the shutter button- it gives an evaluative burst of flash
Could be the metering mode you are in. Could be the subject is too far away. Could be ISO is set wrong. Could be the lens aperture can't open up enough. Could be the exposure compensation isn't set correctly. Could be FE Lock is still on and the composition has changed. Does the <flash> icon continue to blink? Then you are too far away.
