Question about Washing Machines
In reference to your suggested fix for error 49 - replace blown FET (Q842, Q822).. What are the substitute parts used as I cannot locate the orginal part (D2NC60/WKF317)
I have successfully used a D1NA60 FET from an earlier version (phase 5) controller to replce the D2NC60. It is a lower rated component but it works. It was necessary to replace the cold solenoid valve (had gone low in resistance to 15 ohms) and the on-board wired fuse as well but all works OK.
A higher rated FET which could be substituted is ST D5NM60.
