Aeg tumble dryier drum not turning motor ok belt ok drum free please help

If you can hear the motor run when activated replace the belt. You should check or have checked the rollers that the drum is supported by. Check the belt tension-er replace if worn. While the unit is disassembled the rollers are easy to replace.

Vacuum all loose lint out from around the motor while disassembled.

These simple older machines are reliable and very durable and only have a few moving parts.

The most likely cause is a slipping drive belt from the motor to the drum. Check the tension on the belt, but if the belt is worn, replace it. If the belt has been slipping for a period of time , it will probably be worn out.
Motor making a buzzing sound, is the motor actually turning? If so it is probably the belt.
If motor not turning, try taking the drive belt off and if the motor now runs, you may have seized drum bearings = expensive, buy a new dryer !

Very easy on all tumble dryers.

UNPLUG FROM POWER FIRST!

This is simply a case of:
Take the top off the machine (Usually a couple of screws holding the lid on at the back).
Or - Rempove the inspection panel from the back
Drop the new belt over the drive motor spindle
On some machines you may need to thread the belt around a tensioning wheel
Now take the belt and place it on the side main wheel that drives the drum and simply spin the drum wheel with your hand, guiding the new belt into place as you spin the wheel.
It should simply stretch a little and work its way onto the wheel as it is hand turned.

Note, once it is on, take a look at the drive motor and make sure that the belt is sitting in the same place as the old one. Most of these motors have a slotted spindle and you can see from the clean and shiny surface where on the spindle the belt used to sit. If it is a little out of place, once again just take hold of the belt and pull it toward you or push it away as you spin the main drum wheel in order to move it into the correct slot.

The belt goes around the pulley of the motor after fitting it around the drum first.

Open the back panel to access the belt. There is a motor to make the drum tumble by the belt. If the belt is not intact then motor turns but not the drum. If the belt is in good place then motor is not working. Check out the continuity of the motor, if there is then there is a problem with the circuitry. If there is not continuity from the motor terminals then the motor is burnt.
