A E210 has to do with the scanning lamp. It could be that the scanning lamp is blown or the thermal fuse is blown or most likely is that the black power cable is cracked and the power going to the lamp is shorting out to the fram of the copier. The rubber coating cracks from the use of the scanner going back and forth. It is not a easy repair. Good Luck

Cannon 6551 Error message E210

This is most likely the lens motor is not working. The scanner should go left to the home position, then the lens should move all the way left to the lens home sensor and then go toward the rear of the copier to the home position sensor. If the lens doesn't go towards the rear then that motor is bad. There is a problem that the gear that is attached to this motor tends to crack and gives this error. You can see it clearly if you remove the glass. It will ahve to be replaced. It's been so long since I did one of these I couldn't describe how to remove the motor. Good Luck.

All the lights are blinking on the Lexmark E210 when the printer is on.

Hi,
All lights blinking could mean an error with the System Board (main board) You can also check the following link where it gives you more specific information.

Error code E210 any ideas

Hi,

Error E210 means - there is a problem with the lens position.

Under the glass there is a lens that moves to enlarge and reduce the copies. At switch on this has to find a home position. the error code means it has failed to do so. If you look at it is is driven by a belt. The drive pull for this can be seen through the glass. This becomes miss placed and is not driven correctly. Have a look and you will see has has come out of place. You may be able to take it apart and clean it up if not you will need a new drive assembly.
