Make sure the NIC card for wired and the wireelss adapter are both properly installed, You can check it under device manager Right click Mycomputer icon>Properties>Hardware tab>Device manager then look for network adapter or something that says other or unknown device if you see a other device that says network or ethernet controller it only means that the software for those adapter are not installed to your computer, So if you have the setuo cd for those just run it and that should take care the installation...

Hope that helps.........

My IBM thinkpad R52 couldn't enable the wireless facility.. can i do it in my lap or is it not possible?

Hello
The Model R52 has the wireless connectivity option, there are two possibllities
1. you may not install the wireless LAN drivers or you doesnt configure it 2. The wireless LAN gone faulty
figure out these possibilities, or you can install USB wireless LAN to your computer.
Good Luck

Wireless help please!

Make sure that the WLAN adapter is installed properly. Click on the start button then right click My Computer icon, select properties, go to Hardware tab, click Device Manager button, click the + sign beside Network Adapters, check if you have your wireless adapter listed. If your adapter is not listed you need to reinstall the drivers for it.
