Each computer that runs POS must have it's own license. 1 POS license works on 1 computer.

SOURCE: Quickbooks pro2008- can't seem to update data from a backup

You will need to say "yes". This will install all the data from your business computer so your laptop computer data matches your laptop. The only problem comes if you have made changes on your laptop that you didn't bring over to your business computer. If that is the case, those changes will be lost when you update.

2018 Honda Accord. How to upload images to head unit.

This question has come up on Fixya before and the issue was the file format as the poster was trying to upload as a .PNG image.

See page 277 of the Owner's Manual for EX and above trims (or page 255 for LX trims). Below is basically what you need:

Requirements:
  1. JPEG and/or BMP images.
  2. Max dimension per image is 1920 x 936 pixels.
  3. Max file size per image is 2 megabytes.

Importing:
  1. Load up the images on a USB drive.
  2. images must be at the root level of the USB drive.
  3. Connect the USB drive to your USB port.
  4. Select the clock on the touch screen (upper right hand corner), then select Settings.
  5. Follow the menus for importing wallpapers (up to 5 for EX and above, or 255 for LX trims).

How to Mount storage devices automatically on linux

Hi..
This will be nice that all your local Hard drives are mounted automatically during the boot. This can be achieved by modifying "fstab" (File System TABle) file. This file is located on /etc/ which would need superuser permissions(root user password) to modify.

How we can alter fstab and set system to mount partitions by itself is explained below..

  1. First Open a terminal and type blkid and press <Enter>
this will show your local Hard disks with their UUIDs( Universal Unique IDentification). This may look like this

    nightflare.png
here 1st column with /dev entries are the links of partitions(in the format /device/<Partition No.>
2nd column : LABEL describes the Name or Label of partitions. Not all partitions necessarily needs a Label.
3rd column starting with UUID is the entry shows the UUIDs of the Partition
4th column shows the File system used in the partitions

  2. So Now we know some important informations about our partitions like their File system type and UUIDs. In linux to use a filesystem, we need to mount it in somewhere in the root directory. This is because of the Hierarchy nature of Linux .

Usual location of mounted file systems are on /mount/ or /mnt/. I take /mount/ as my default Mount location. Create a new folder with a name(Without any space between words, ex: New_Partition) simillar to Partiton Label or No

To create folders in /mount/ , we need root permissions.
Open a terminal and type su and press <Enter>. It will ask for root password. type in root password and press enter.

    Then type mkdir -v /media/<Dir Name>
ex.: If you want to create New_Drive in /media/ then type mkdir -v /media/New_Drive
You can also create multiple folders in one step
ex. You want to create Drive1, Drive2 , Drive3 then you need to type as
    mkdir -v /media/Drive1 /media/Drive2 /media/Drive3

    You may get as this
    nightflare_0.png

Now we created mount points needed to mount the filesystems

  3. Now we need to modify fstab file .
Default location of fstab is /etc/fstab

    nightflare_1.png

On terminal ( where we typed commands to create folders in /media)
Before we start editing fstab file, lets make a backup copy of it

Type on terminal cp -v /etc/fstab /etc/fstab.backup and press <Enter>. You should see as below.

    nightflare_5.png

type sudo gedit & and press <Enter>

This will open text editor. Click on Open and point it to /etc/fstab

    nightflare.jpg

It will Open fstab file. This may look like this

    nightflare_3.png

Any entry starting with #, will not taken into account. So you can use # for commenting

Basic structure of fstab file is

    <File System Address> <Mount Point> <Filesystem Type> <Options> <Dump> <Pass>

File System Address --> Its is the Identifier for the file system. You can use either Links (ex.: /dev/sda2) or Labels (ex.: LABEL="DRIVE1") or UUIDs (ex.: UUID="74c9c3d9-a374-406d-ba41-e030c7d35f5d")

Mount Point --> This is folder on which the file system mounts. (Refer Step 2) (ex.: /media/Drive2)

File System Type --> specify the file system (ex ext3, ntfs, fat)

Options --> Contains more complicated options
For normal user, its good to set Defaults as Options

Dump --> set whether to Backup or not. (ex. 0, 1)

Pass --> set whether to check filesystem before mounting

example of a edited fstab file is

    nightflare_4.png

After finishing with fstab save it. You may get errors if you don't have permissions to alter fstab. In that case, Open a terminal and type su and press <Enter> and provide Password for root account. and <Enter>
    Then type gedit &.

  4. After saving the file , restart the system, if everything go just good as expected the computer boots up with local partitions mounted on specified locations

What brands of nails will work in my 15ga finish nailer 1000993

Here are a few tips on buying nails for your nailer. Nails are sold in two basic categories, clip head and full round head. The clip head are lower in price and are usually taped on glued together with no spacing between them. The full round head have spacing between each nail and are held together with plastic. Some nailguns can use both types. It is important to verify the angle of your gun. To measure the exact angle use a straitedge along length of rails and a protractor at the barrel of the gun. Place the protractor on the barrel with the 90 and 0 degrees aligned with the barrel and hold the straitedge aligned with the rails and the 0 degree mark. Read the angle. You may find that your gun measures a different angle. Nails are sold from 0 to 34 degree. 34 degree is usually clip head for Paslode, Senco, Hitachi and other brands. I find that many brands of nails do not list the angle, but list the name of the gun instead. This makes it difficult for non-branded guns. Take the protractor into the store and measure the angle of the nails or place the nails on the outside of the rails to see if they align with the barrel. Shop several stores because nails vary by brand. Once you verify the perfect fit, ask for a sample strip to try in your gun. When you identify the angle and type, use this information to shop for price. Most nails are imported from around the world, however there are nails still produced in the US costing more. Home Depot and Lowes do not carry a full range of nails.
=Google the internet for more info on nails such as www.nailzone.com. They sell a 33 degree nail that may fit your gun. Good luck and email me or post again with more questions.

I have just installed more memory to my computer and do not notice any difference in the speed of my computer

you may have installed memory that may not be compatible with your motherboard

do you know what type of mother board you have..
your memory must match in this categories
1. type (ddr, ddr2, sdram, simm, rimm)
2. speed (measured in mhz or sometimes given as a pcXXXX number)
3. cas number.
4. whether is ECC, parity, buffered, registered, non ecc
5. check your motherboard documentation to find exactly in what slot your new memory stick should go and which one should go first and which one should go second (ex. if you have dimm slots and you have 4 slots (2 pairs of different color) you may need to install one memory sticks like this: memory - empty - memory -empty
if one of the items that should be matched does not correspond your computer could work but it will work at the slower speed (ex. memory 1 (slow) + memory 2 (faster) = speed of memory 1

note: don't confuse memory capacity (1g, 512mb) with speed (333mhz, pc2700)... the best thing to do is to check the documentation of *********** board or even take the memory stick that you originally have and have the store looking for the memory that you need...
