Question about JVC Cybercam GR-DVP7 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I have a JVC GR-DVP7E and the LCD monitor screen is blank whenever I open it. I can look through the viewfinder ok but I get no image at all on the LCD screen. This was a gradual thing where the screen over half a year started to flick off and you sometimes just had to give it a tap to make the image appear. Now it wont come on at all! What could the problem be and would it be expensive to fix?
Its probably a broken flex cable or the LCD is bad now because of all the flicking going on?? The flex cables about 15 bucks depending on where you get it but if your not good with really tiny electronics I would let a pro do the repair for you as you can cause alot of damage, as you could break other flex cables just taking it apart. Good Luck
