Black Printing

-   I have LOVED using the i80. It prints so well, and does an amazing job with photos. However, I replaced the black cartridge this past week and now cannot get it to print ANY black text. What gives?? I actually replaced that cartridge with yet another new one with no change in result. I can print essentially any color (so I'm using blue for text) but no black. Any suggestions / fixes would be greatly appreciated.

-   the black print faded. I have changed a new black ink, and run the deep cleaning, nozzle check, aligment etc... It only print for few pages and there was no black print at all. I have changed a 2nd new black ink, and took the print head out to wipe.I still have the same problem, there was no black print at all.

If I do need to replace the print head ,Where do can I get the print head replace in Sydney Australia ??-   minahuynh

-   The printer recently told me my printer was out of yellow ink. I replaced the cartridge and had no problem. Then less than a week later the computer told me I was out of black ink, so i replaced the cartidge and the pictures are still not getting any black in printed on them. I dont know what to do. Do i buy a new black cartridge to see if i had a defective one, or is it something internal in the computer. Anyone who may have a suggestion on what to do to fix this please, let me know, I'd very much appreciate it! Thanks so much!!-   Jochyka

-   The last page printed text that was faded, and was obviously running out of black ink. I replaced the black ink cartridge immediately, and have not been able to print anything black since. All other colors print fine, as shown on test prints. I have tried another brand new black ink cartridge, cleaned the nozzle several times, but nothing seems to work.-   T05667
