Kleenmaid DW3 dishwasher not running.

Hi we have a kleenmaid DW3 it wont run, you can reset it and it clicks through but will not fill with water and wash.. Can you please help..
Thank you Won't reset or start...lights just run through different programmes but will not operate. Thought it was a problem with LED and powerboard so switched it off then "light show" began with lights running in turn across display.

HI,

If there's no water entering your dishwasher, check these:

Water-inlet valve
Float switch
Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.

Float switch The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

Hi, have the same problem, found the LED light circuit board burnt, unplugged the board and the dishwasher works fine just don't have the red lights on or showing, I can live with that because it cost me nothing to get it working again., Rob.

Had this prob which was a stuck water inlet solenoid. It's behind the left side of the front kick panel & you should hear a humming sound if it's stuck. It's caused by excessive frothing of detergent. Remove plastic tubing from end of solenoid and **** & blow into the tube. If solenoid is stuck you'll hear it slide back into position. Put tube back in place and run machine. It should now run. I'm told it's a very common problem.

Some of the switches that control water are electrical but it could be the control panel board. Are you planning on repairing this yourself? You most likely should have a qualified technician service your machine. Once I have more information I can assist you further. Please hold off on requesting more assistance/rejecting my assistance.
Thanks,
Lee

Have Kleenmaid "Super silent system"

Dishwasher Doesn't Fill

1) First make sure the water is turned on. Check the hot-water supply stop valve, normally located under the sink. Open it all the way by turning it counterclockwise. If there is no reason this would have been turned off since the last time the dishwasher worked, go on to the next step.

2) Turn off the power to the dishwasher.

3) When the dishwasher is cool, look for the float inside the dishwasher; this is usually a small plastic dome or cylinder mounted inside at the tub's base, near the front. When you move most types of floats up and down, you can hear them click because they trip a lever (they are spring-loaded).

Lift out the float mechanism, and clean around the float tube. Many floats must be disconnected from below; to do this you'll have to remove the lower access panel. Rinse off the float, replace it in the tube, and make sure it moves up and down freely.

4) If you're experienced with minor repair work, shut off the hot-water valve to the appliance. Locate the water intake valve, behind the dishwasher's bottom front panel; disassemble the valve to reveal the screen; clean debris from the screen; and reassemble. If the screen doesn't appear to be blocked, call a repairperson (he or she will probably need to replace the water intake valve).

5) If none of this helps, call a repairperson. Any of several parts-including the water inlet valve, pressure switch, and the timer or selector switch-may be faulty.

Kleenmaid DW3 dishwasher not running.

Hello, this isn't a fix, but if you can't get the dishwasher fixed, I am interested in purchasing the cutlery baskets off you, if they are still in reasonable condition. Mine has plenty of breaks in the base and the handles poke through, which affects the lower spray arm rotation. Please reply through another post if you're selling. Thanks.
