I have a jenn air model number JES9800AAB that the glass top broke. How do I replace it and how hard is it to do?

I too have the same problem with this very model and was wondering where I get the replacement stove top. I called Sears, which is where I purchased the range and they were not helpful AT ALL!!

Replacing this top is not too difficult. It is secured by four screws on each side. You might have to remove some of the flanging in the back to pull it off. Make sure to unplug the the unit. I would think that the top might be pricy, but if you take your time replacing it should be no problem.
