Before uninstalling or downloading a bunch of unnecessary files, try looking for the file in your computer by using the search engine in windows (press start -> search -> type hpfmom10.hlp -> press enter). Then once the file is found, copy it's address to the field where the installation think the file is located. Way easier and less time-consuming than other solutions.

HP has two sets of numbers for the printer.
1315 - This is your model number
1300 - This is your series number
The software, manuals, printer queue, etc. will all show the printer under your series number. This is because there are several models that have minor differences that are not related to the software so they will all share the same software. When you try to download the software for your OS you will use your model number and when it has downloaded during the install it will all show as the series number again. This is normal.
If you don't use the HP software (i don't on my 1300 series) Uninstall all of it. Then go to device manager and remove the printer, then reboot(while rebooting unplug the printer from the computer) and then once the computer is up, plug the printer to the computer, it will find the printer and let it search for drivers, it should find vista drivers for the 1300 series
if this may not work try this additional steps:
Go to Control panel>printers>Right click on the printer and select properties then ports and see if it set as a USB port if not you may have to create one
