Hi, i will try to make this thing easy for all off you.
I am using the Chicony webcam with windows Vista Sp1 And it work fine. Here is what you need to do to get it working!
1st Once you connect it for the 1st time vista is supposed to auto install DLINK CIF WEBCAM (2004-05-13 date of driver) wich is the right driver for it !
2nd i used to get a black screen when i tried to adjust it on msn! ( use what ever thing to adjust it, windows live, Or photoImpression3 from your camera instalation cd. or from any thing that make you bring the options pannel!) **sorry if you ahve some trouble understanding me, i'm french and im trying my best to explain stuff to you guys
If you use windows live , go to TOOLs, and what ever camera setting that there is there lol! (mine is french so cant help you english user much) wich should bring the setting pannel!
Uncheck the marked box USB BANDWITH (red circle on image), then bring the arrow from the far left to the far right ! (bleu mark on picture) FROM USB BANDWITH LINE. DONT put the arrow in the middle, while doing this, cause it'S gona probally make your computer crash! (assuming your computer use the new usb2 technologie, and your camera doesnt ;) You'll have to restart and do it again, trust me, i've done it! After doing all those thing, SAVE your setting and there you go!
*save your setting ;) i'Ve posted picture but im not sure they worked!hope for you they worked, i'Ve tryed to link, but didnt work ether...

The manufacturer suggested me to contact you for problem solution. Firstly you said the solution is free. Later, you came in terms of payment. I made a research and found the solution. It is easy.
