There's not much we can do about that digital frame. The PCB is the heart of the digital photo frame, as it includes the device software. If it malfunctions, that's it. Common issue with digital frames, burn-out, you'll know it when something smells like a plastic burning.

You mentioned that your digital photoframe will not turn on. When you connect it to the computer see if the computer still detects it. You also mentioned that it is direct to AC power. The reasone the previous experts suggested this is because there are so many digital photo frames out in the market today as you did not specify your exact brand and model number we can only guess. So it is best if you specify your exact brand and model. Secondly I ask if the computer still detects the unit because that is a way to find out if the unit is defective or not. I would assume your unit still needs a computer to put pictures on it right? I stress the word assume because i do not know the brand and model.

    Phone: 1-866-289-5168
call this number for service and support the warranty on those is only 90 days. Not much of a warranty. usually though when you purchase it at most retailers you are offered a protection plan. I recommend it on frames like these. Newer technology that is made as cheap as possible to bring the price down. A protection plan only costs about 20$ and would allow you to replace your item for free. If you need any further assistance let me know.
    Thanks,
    Lee

Are you using a USB cable (make sure that the cable is 1.0 or 2.0) then see of the
dvd player supports both. If not you may be using the wrong USB i would just try a new
usb (spare)

Thank you Jayson

make sure that your wireless remote power button is not causing the problem
This may caused by an object laying on top of the remote power button
Simple but just a suggestion to check also that the power button is not sticking

Is there a firmware updates for dff 1002(Digital photo frame)

Unlikely this is a first or second generation Digital Photo Frame. Also typically digital photo frames don't get firmware updates, unless they're third party hacks.

Marantz Problems

It almost sound like your player is on a standby mode or something if you turn it on and it turns off. You turn it back on and it stays on is because when you think you turning it on, it was actually turning it off. Sound kooky but that's what it looks like to me.

I lost the directions for my venturer digital photo frame and forget how to configure it. The menu button is no help. I'm trying to change the viewing interval from 5 to 30 sec but none of the indicated...

Go to a retailer where they sell this Brand of Photo frame and be polite to the clerk or Manager and ask if they could PLEASE make you a copy of the instructions. You might want to offer them a couple of bucks for doing you the favor. If they tell you No, then ask for the phone # or web address off of the instructions or box so that you can contact the manufacturer and either get a new set of instructions mailed/faxed to you. You may need the instructions for another problem later down the road, so it would be WORTH it. Does that sound reasonable to you to have the complete instructions, rather than just knowing how to fix this one viewing problem. I would
definitely NEED the entire instructions, myself. Hopefully the manager of the store will take mercy on you and make you a copy. I have a good feeling
about this. If they are busy, be patient. It's a virtue.
Wait until someone is free of other customers. Let me know how you did OK. Best of Luck to You!!!

When we try to play dvd the audio/video vsx-1017txv-k turns off

If you remove the video and audio inputs to the reciever and select dvd does it still shut down? You may have a bad rca jack that is shorted and it is causing the reciever to go into protective shut down. You can try moving the input to anothe input say aux in or vcr and see if it does the same. If it does try changing your rca jacks. You can also try just the video in and see if it does not shut down or one of the audio inputs one at a time, you may be able to isolate the problem. Always check you have the gozintos and goesouttos in the right places. what happens if you disconnect the jacks completly does it stay on and if it does do the one at a time input yellow for video white next for left channel then red for right channel audio. Hope this helps

Was given digital picture frame . have no cd manual. haS 22 PICTURES ON IT .CAN I PUT MORE? MODEL NO. 7FF1

It depends on how big the existing pictures are. It has a 14MB internal memory, but it says about 12MB for storage. You can buy memory card to insert into the frame but it will not display internal memory once you insert a new memory card. If you bought a 512MB card, you could put hundreds to thousands of pictures in JPG format. You can hook the frame to your computer or directly to a digital camera. From the computer it takes a few seconds to convert the pictures. The frame will show up on your PC as a mass storage device and you will be able to delete photos as well.

I hope this helps

I just purchased a digital photo frame, the DP-758. I loaded photos from my USB key, 52 photos. I somehow have 233 photos on the photo frame, I don't know how. I would like to know how to delete...

hi there
your photo frame has not got a built in memory so it can only read pictures from the card you put in and only while the card is inserted. these extra pictures are either on your card, which you can delete yourself via your p.c., or they are stock demo pictures on the picture frame which can't be deleted.if you insert your card before you switch the frame on it should read only the card.

hope this helps

well sounds like one of the players is not in correct spot thus shuts down (kinda timing issue) see if there is anything preventing it from going jiggle or turn upside down see if you hear anything.
