are you using a USB cable (make sure that the cable is 1.0 or 2.0) then see of the
dvd player supports both. If not you may be using the wrong USB i would just try a new
usb (spare)

Are you using the AC plug to connect it to the wall out let

- you can hooked this up to a computer but that is not a problem
so is there a chance that yo may have another memory card to
try or is this card full

- make sure that your wireless remote power button is not causing the problem
This may caused by an object laying on top of the remote power button
Simple but just a suggestion to check also that the power button is not sticking

Check the AC Power Input see if it is lose or the plug cord may have a small cut/slice
and the wire is exposed
