Re: mitzibishi tv wd 65000

Hey Fy what do you mean by replacement lamp?? theres no such device in this set???The sets not turning on it could be a shorted horizontal output transistor and if thats been replaced and blown again then you probably have a bad flyback xformer. If thats what your refuring to then i dont have a clue what your saying as ythis set has only a picture tube??? Need more info please.

The tv i have is an 52 inch big screen. The model number is 50hmx96, the serial number is 30405011,and finally the lamp number is y66lmp and that is where my problem comes in, i was watchting the tv and...

Looking at the back of the TV the lamp door is on the bottom left. Loosen the one screw holding it on. Remove the lamp door. Inside is the lamp unit. Loosen the two screws on the left of the lamp unit. Grab the handle on the lamp unit and pull it straight out. You may want to vacuum the dust (and glass) off at this point. Slide the new lamp unit straight into TV until it's fully seated. Tighten the two screws on the lamp unit. Re-install the door and tighten the screw. Lightweight gloves are recommended for this procedure.

Disconnect it from power cable 30 mins, see if this reset works, for the rest sounds like you have a problem with the power unit.

42hp86 plasma television no picture sound ok

high voltage is down which is common to plasma tv realy not a fix for a consumer.but any way look in the x,y stainer board area for a bad fuse if so replace with the same type and value ( dont put a higher rated fuse like replaceing a 3.6 amp with a 10 amp fuse ) if fuse blows again replace sub board should be easy to find since there are generaly only 3 or 4 in the unit proberly take longer to remove the back the to locate these power supplies

My 19 inch tv/vcr combo has the Tape In indicator lite on, but no tape in it, and we cannot insert a new tape. Can you help?

I guess the easiest thing you can try , if you are handy with tools and a little knowledgeble with mechanical things is to replace the loading belt. Most of these problems are due to a loose belt(side of the cassette load mechanism) or inthe rear of the vcr mechanism(facing back cover)if this does not do it then i suggest geting it to a tv shop, might need timing align or end lamp replacement.

Sound ,no picture when i turn on my Samsung TFT-LCD tv

I might suggest opening up the lamp cover and reseating your lamp. Here's a Samsung_HD_Tech quick fix, and I'll walk you through a process that will "Re-seat your lamp". If you locate and open up the lamp housing, you'll see your lamp. Here's an example of what you'll see: Now, if you either unscrew the two screws where the yellow arrows are, or the one screw where the red arrow is (Depending on the model you have), you'll be able to pull the lamp out a little. Don't worry, the screws shouldn't fall in the unit, as they should be attached to the lamp housing. You don't have to pull the lamp all the way out (if you do, that's okay), but if you pull it out a little (6 inches or so), and then firmly push it back into place and rescrew it in, and close up your outer panel, that may very well fix your problem. The outside panel does need to be back in for the television to turn on. There is a blue kill switch there, but you don't want to fool with that. A few general rules here. 1. If you do pull the lamp all the way out, do not touch the glass face. 2. Perform this procedure while the lamp is cool, and preferably not after consecutively watching "24", Seasons 1-7 3. If the first one doesn't take, try re-seating it again. It may take a few times to reset whatever is triggering the warning. So a recap: Unscrew the lamp, pull it out a little, firmly push it back in, rescrew the lamp, and close it up and see what happens. It sounds crazy, but if it fixes your problem without a service tech OR a new lamp, that'd be a good thing. Keep me posted. plse do not forget to rate this solution.thanks
