Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P5 Digital Camera
The built-in lens cover no longer closes.
Unless you know how to work on camera optics I would leave this one for the pros. Look in your owners manual for a repair depot or call the tech assist # in the book also. Now you may be able to fudge it a bit by when ther cameras off try flicking the side of the lens with your finger a few times if the cover pops out then you know its gummed up and need to be disassembled and cleaned. If it dosent come out after a few perswading flicks then you know that there is some mechanical or electrical problem that needs a service person to check out. Good Luck!
