Vintage General Electric Range

Where can I find a service manual for a vintage stove? Is there a website that offers how-to instructions for taking the stove apart, whether just to clean it, or repair it? MODEL:  General Electric, 24"wide, push-button, electric; 1950s.
Placard on inside of oven door is "erased", except for embossed numbers: On the Left = 1 1245W2M2   10 7 On the Right = NM28552
Hope you can help ~ Thanks!

1950 G.E. electric stove has a red light indicator that never goes off. it is located up by the clock and plug. it stays on even when the oven is off or the eyes are turned off.
do you know what the light is for and what may be causing this problem?

Answer to Terry Hair - cat. 280 RA77, ser. 38 80A, GE Hotpoint electric range/stove/oven

You weren't kidding when you said Vintage! I was thinking maybe 1950's. What you have is purely antique! I doubt you will easily find anything for something that old. There are a few websites online that cater to antique and vintage appliances. Some have forums where you can request info. You might fare better there.

ANYONE HAVE AN OLD OVENTHEY ARE NOT USING? I'LL BUY IT FROM YOU IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT

where are you located? & are you looking for one to cook on or collectible vintage ones?
where i live in Paterson,nj,we have stores that sell used stoves/refrigerators,etc,restored to almost new condition, for about $150.-maybe there's some of these businesses near you?
my friend is selling a vintage stove, but unless you are local & can pick it up, i can imagine the shipping charges to get it to you would equal buying a top of the line stove in your area.

Vintage rolex oyster that wont wind up

Its time for a service.
Take it to any Rolex re-seller that offers repair or to any good timepiece service center. If its a vintage piece i would recommend sending it to Rolex, paying the extra cost to receive the watch with full Rolex repair documents and service history. The Rolex web site has information on this. Also this company does a fine job on Rolex repair. https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-repair-service

I need Replacements lenses for a vintage pair of Ray-ban Aviators Lens size 5814 in gray. Help?

To find replacement lenses for your vintage Ray-Ban Aviators with lens size 5814 in gray, you have a few options:
  1. Ray-Ban Official Website: Visit the official Ray-Ban website and navigate to their replacement parts section. They may offer replacement lenses specifically designed for your vintage Aviators. Use the search filters or contact their customer support for assistance.
  2. Authorized Retailers: Reach out to authorized Ray-Ban retailers, either online or in-store, and inquire about replacement lenses for your specific model. They might have access to vintage or discontinued parts or be able to recommend compatible lenses.
  3. Specialty Eyewear Retailers: Look for specialty eyewear retailers or optical shops that carry a wide range of lenses and frames. Some of these retailers have the expertise to customize lenses for vintage eyewear. Contact them to see if they can assist you in finding or creating the appropriate replacement lenses.
  4. Online Marketplaces: Check online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, or Etsy. These platforms often have sellers offering vintage or replacement lenses for various sunglasses models, including Ray-Ban Aviators. Make sure to verify the seller's reputation and read product descriptions and reviews carefully before making a purchase.
When searching for replacement lenses, be sure to specify the exact lens size (5814) and the desired color (gray). Vintage models may have specific requirements, so it's essential to find lenses that are compatible with your particular pair of Aviators.
