Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I own a copy of the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. I have two Xbox 360s and have never had this problem. What it is, is that when I put Halo 3 in one of my Xboxs it says it's reading the disk and then just stops suddenly or doesn't do anything at all. I can put the disk in and sometimes it won't even recognize there's a disk in the drive and other times it will start to read it then just stop. I've had my first Xbox 360 since a little bit after its release and never had any major problems besides the Red Ring of Death. Sometimes I will get a disk error with some games but I can usually just eject the game and try it again or clean the disk with a soft cloth and it starts up. Usually that is. And, may I add, that Halo 3 also works in that same Xbox just fine. My other Xbox though I got fairly recently and it will run games fine, except for Halo 3. This is not a normal disk read error. My disk is a little scratched and such, which is normal. It was a pre-order game though, meaning it was the first shipment. I never had this problem with anything else besides Halo 3 and THAT Xbox 360. Please try to help. This is a really irritating problem seeing as I only have one copy of Halo 3 and have two other brothers who play the Xbox that won't run Halo 3. I have my own which is the ony one that will run it. If there is anything else such as information about anything that you need, please tell me and I will give it to you.
Try to clean your Drive in your xbox... Remove it and clean the lens with a soft cloth....

Its a game error bring it back to the store where you bought it :) and make them give u a new one

Next to cleaning your CD good, try also getting the laser eye cleaned as well, this might help. Also, if the disk is too scratched up then it will not read it, the scratches might be too deep.
