Question about Apple Ipod Nano Second Gen. Green (4 GB) MA487LLA MP3 Player
Just bought new ipod nano 3rd generation for my 12 yr old and although it is charging via computor it will not sync and the help assistant doesnt pop up so im not sure what to do next. there is no disc or manual with the 3rd generation and im very inexperienced with technical things. is it possible to manually syn ipod to computor, if so how? feel like handing the thing back to be honest have spent nearly all day searching on apples support with no solution. any suggestion would be grateful my ipod wont get rcognised by the computers iam using vista and it does not recognise but it recognises my frends ipod classic whta shud i do???
I have the same ipod and had the same problem - I ignored itunes and the computer and went to "real player" and treated it like an mp3 player and in real player you pick your music you want to burn to a cd but go to "device" column and change the destination from burning to your internal cd burner to the external drive which is the ipod and it downloaded perfect! hope this helps

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
