I cant get my stove to stop beeping. f1 error

You need to get the exact model number and make of this stove. Get ready for a bad circuit board to be the culprit, because electronic stoves are pretty much unfixable by mechanical means and the problem usually comes from a bad capacitor, corroded or overheated circuit board.

When you get your model number and make, go to YouTube and just type in your model stove and ask "how to repair a F1 error code on a blah blah stove". There are so many video's there on how to repair things with actual instructions and pictures. It's great.

My maytag oven keeps getting a F3/F5 code

F3 F5 error is for the temperature probe failure. Here is the part to order.
There is a video on that same parts page to show you how to replace the probe.
Keep me posted!

I'm getting an F1 error code on the display. Unplugging the stove overnight has cleared it, but it keeps coming back. I'm unable to locate my owner's manual.

Hi hammerpville,

The F1 error that you're getting means that there's an electronic oven control failure. To address this issue you have to replace electronic oven control (also called EOC or clock).
Hope this helps.

Error code F8 keeps coming up. I was trying to run the self clean program and it wouldn't work. Now error code keeps coming up regardless of what mode oven is in

Hi vicktys,

The error code F8 that you are getting from your machine means that there's something wrong with the door locking switch. You need to check if there's any loose wiring as well as the door locking switches. If the wiring is fine you might need to replace the door latch assembly. You may contact Sears for the replacement part at 1-800-252-1698; M-F 6:30 AM-10:30 PM - Sat 7:00 AM-9:30 PM - Sun 7:30 AM-9:30 PM - All times Central.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

F5 E1 error code...i cant get the door unlocked and the beeper keeps going off.

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

I have a Kenmore Super Capacity with UltraBake System. Model number 92004102. I keep getting error message E2 F3 and my oven door locks and my oven turns off. What does this earor message mean?

We have parts for your Kenmore range. You have a series of 3 numbers before the model number that's on your range. Those numbers tell us who manufacured your oven. Once we have this information, we call tell you which part you need to stop the E2 F3 error codes.

You may contact us at:

from 7 AM until 7 PM CST Monday through Saturday and we can get you cooking again!

We look forward to working with you and getting you up and running again soon.

Thanks, Ella

Tried to selfclean my NEW oven but get error message F5E1

Reading all the questions and responses - I had the same problem (would press "self clean", it would run for less then a minute then give the error message), so once I saw the code was E5F1 and what it meant (thanks for whoever posted that), I just pressed on the door for the first minute of the cycle, and self-cleaning then worked. Go figure :)

Getting error code F1 and F3 on my matag oven... the darn thing keeps beeping too

f1 error code is a defective touch pad or control board.. the f3 error is a shorted temp sensor.. you might be better off just getting a new oven. check on price of parts first.

Kitchen Aid KESC300 smooth top electric stove

Look on the back of the oven for a tech sheet. This will tell you what the code means and what to check. May be an oven temp. sensor or oven control bad. Can't remember what f7 is without looking at the tech sheet.
