Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My nephew was messing with my sons psp... neither him or my son want to tell me exactly what happened.. So now all that happens is, when I try to turn it on, green light turns on for like 5-10 seconds then shuts off, no LSD or sound. When I try to charge it, orange light comes on but when I try to turn it on while charging, nothing happens...My daughter has her psp also.. I tried switching the batteries.. same thing happens with the other battery.....please help...
Same thing happened to mine but i wasn't downloading priated software. Just the update that same on one of my games I bought at Best Buy. I am still working on unbricking it without using the ILLEGAL pandora battery. I found out it sells on the Blackmarket. So, yeah....

I'll give you the quick story of what they did. They "bricked" the PSP. This is a term used by all PSP hackers. When you try to hack the system so you can play pirated games on the system, you will occasionally get an error that causes the system to be "bricked". They use the word "brick" because once it happens, the PSP becomes as fun as a brick. You really can't do much about it. Your best bet is to call Sony and see what they can do for you. If you know anyone else that knows what they're doing with PSPs, you could always ask them to fix it for you, but Sony would be the easiest. They won't do it for free, but they will fix it for you. 1-800-345-SONY
