Question about Canon imageCLASS MF6530 Monochrome Laser Copier/Printer

Open Question

Fuzzy print & crooked copy

When copying through the feeder, 1 portion of each page comes out fuzzy (a square equal to about 1/10 of the copy). The copier keeps telling us to clean the glass which we have done repeatedly with no change.

When I put the page on the glass manually and hold it down, it comes out clear.

But the copies are also coming out skewed whether through the feeder or held manually. We are making sure to hold it perfectly straight, but the copy comes out slanted about 5-10 degrees.

Sounds like the roller(s) on the left side is missing or is slick (or split). You should have returned it to the place of purchase when you discovered the problem.

Does this happen when you using the document feeder?? Try placing the original document on the big glass see what happens might be you document feeder needs to be adjusted or the original document is hitting a obstruction in the path as it is being scanned. Does it print OK? Vise copy?

My sharp AL800 copier is making copies with horizontal lines on the paper and the text is suddenly fuzzy. it just started happening while i was copying documents.

Does this happen when using the document feeder? If so place the original document on the big glass a make a copy did the lines go away if so when you are using the document feeder you are not using the big glass but the small slit glass check if it is clean. If the line are also on copy when using the big glass you have a problem with your drum, cleaning blade, corona, or fuser unit (hot Part). Have atech check it out, Does it print OK?

My printer when printing from feeder makes crooked copies

Most likely the Hinge screws have become loose and the feeder is out of alignment. Make a copy on the platen glass, if it comes out straight then it is definitely a misaligned feeder. Hope this helps.

My print is fuzzy and has a lot of skips in the text. The problem started when I put in "copy" paper and new cartridges from cartridge world at the same time and I cannot tell which might be the problem,...

Some copy papers are extremely thin, and the printing on them will look fuzzy, but if you have skips in the text, this problem is with the cartridges. Look at the heads of the cartridges and see if they are clean. If that doesn't work, i would return the cartridges and try another set. The same thing happened on my HP, I replaced the cartridges and it worked fine!

Blurred section on copies.

When looking at your copy is the 1/3rd that is blurry at the top of the page with the bottom 2/3rd's being fine? Or is the 1/3rd that is bad go up and down the right or left side? I am trying to determine if the defect runs up and down the pade as you look at the copy or is it "across" the top or bottom of the page.

Copier will not work correctly

try cleaning the scanner glass(both the scan bed as well as the scanner glass on the Automatic document feeder)..then clean the copper contacts on the cartridges......if it still does not work then You can try a reset on the printer using the # and the number 6,holding them down while plugging in the power cord at the back of the printer.it should work......

Blurry Copies on Xerox WorkCentre C2424

There are three typical reasons for fuzzy text

1. Y-axis drum rotation problem.
2. Wrong drum temperature.
3. X-axis movement problem.

Sometimes the y-axis encoder will get oil inside and confuse the sensors, causing fuzzy/blurry print.

Most likely the drum assembly will need replaced.

Leaking black ink on printed pages

Hi, please attempt to run a numerous blank paper through the printer. This will dry or clean any ink found on the rollers.
Continue to run blank pages through the printer until no more ink is found on the paper, then attempt printing. If ink stains or streaks are still present, the printer may need service.
