Question about RCA P61830BL 61" Rear Projection Television
I have a 4 year old 50" Toshbia Projection TV. Model #50H82. I turned it on today and the picture flashed and faded then it went out. The picture is no more. I even tryed the menu from the TV and remote, nothing. The sound does work though. Does anyone know what it could be? Is it expensive? Thanks So Much.
A few problems come to mind. The high voltage block took a dump and opened up. The filiment supply from the HV sweep has cold solder connections on the Printed circuit board. Another problem is the most common of all could be a vertical sweep falure like the vertical output IC or the b+ going to the chip or maybe even a bad yolk connection on the solder side. Good luck
