Question about Toshiba 61HX70 61" Rear Projection Television
My Tv will shut off, and the power light blinks. After being unplugged for 2 days it came back on and didn't do it shut off again for a week. Then it did it once again 3 days later. I originaly had plugged into a power strip. It is now plugged directly to outlet. The repairman doesn't have any idea what causes this, when he was looked at the Tv it was working fine and couldn't get to shut off. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jason
Theres an STR##### IC in the power supply thats intermittant and this is a very very common problem Im surprised the repairman didnt know this. Tell them to look it up on the schematic and come to your house and replace it. Most repairers wont do this in the house because they cant get the same money but in my opinon it shouldnt take more then an hour too do. Good luck Ps the ###### in the STR number are differant on differant models.
