I purchased a Nikon N75 camera and it has NEVER worked properly. I repeatedly brought it back to the Ritz Camera Store where I purchased it and they kept telling me no other customers had any problems with this camera. They would adjust it and then the same thing would happen again. In the middle of taking a roll of film it would stop I would change the batteries at $10.00 each and nothing. Each time I would take the film back to the store and have to have it removed professionally to get 2 or 3 pictures. With the cost of film and what I paid for this piece of junk camera it should work. I have tried changing the batteries and everything. I will NEVER buy another Nikon camera. My daughter and her friend also have the N75 and have the same problems. All 3 of us have the same useless camera. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to turn this camera on and make them work please let me know. Thank you.

Sounds like a lens compatibility issue. Ensure that you have a compatible lens mounted first (see user guide) and then ensure it is set to its smalles t aperture (F22 for example), otherwise the shutter will freeze and the Error will be displayed.

I would like to know if a 24mm Nikon f2.8 Ai Manual Focus Lens will work on a Nikon N75 SLR Camera

Yes and no. It will fit and you can take pictures with it. You'll have to focus manually, of course, and you won't get any exposure help from the camera's light meter. You'll have to use the camera in the Manual exposure mode, setting the shutter speed on the camera body and the aperture by turning the ring on the lens and, as I said earlier, without any help from the camera's light meter.

My Nikon N75 says error and there is a flashing circle with a dot in the middle when i look through the lens.... What does this mean?!

If the LCD panel shows "E" then the film isn't loaded properly. If the LCD panel shows "ERR" and "E" blinking, then the film is not correctly advanced. If the LCD panel shows a blinking "E" when the exposure meter is turned on, then film remains in the camera after it has been rewound. In all cases, reload film.

If it's not one of those cases, or if the problem persists, please reply to this post giving further details.

Will my olmpus lenses fit on a nikon n75 slr 35mm camera

Generally, the lenses used with the Olympus cameras will not be compatible with the Nikon cameras.

However, there are some converter adapters available in the market. You can look for the Olympus to Nikon converter adapters. These adapters will help you in using the Olympus lenses with the Nikon cameras.

I'm getting an error message on my nikon n75.

You didn't specify when the message appears or exactly what it says, so I will take a stab at it. If it is the Err message and it happens as soon as you turn on the camera, chances may be high that the lens you have on it is not set to its smallest aperture opening (ie 22). The camera can't control the automatic exposure settings correctly unless the mounted lens is shut down to its smallest aperture

Nikon N75 - error message, nothing working.

You have to reset the rewind counter by pushing the two buttons simultaneously - one on the side of the lens mount, the other by the release button - red, cassette symbols. This tells the camera there's no film in it.
