Question about Samsung Televison & Video
With the power to both devices off, plug one end of HDMI into the DVD player output and the other to one of the two HDMI ports on the back of the TV or the port on the side. Power the TV on first then the DVD player. Now you will need to use the input button on the remote to find the correct HDMI port you plugged into on the set. When you find the correct input the screen displayed will have the screen that is displayed when there is no dvd in the player- that is unless you have one in at the time.
Hope this helps you out.
