KV-32FS120 makes a loud noise and green tint when turned on

I have a KV-32FS120, every time that I turn it on, I makes a loud noiseand has a green tint for aprx 5 seconds or more. Is this something Ishould worry about now or wait until something goes first? I would liketo have this problem go away, if you could offer some help Iwould greatly appreciate it.

    freetek,

It is hard to say. Kind'a like the sound of a light saber on stars wars
is turned on but faster and ends loudly and abruptly. It takes just
    under 1 second.

Ok, let me try that again. When switched on it starts like a sharp hum or something virbrating; quickly, loudly and for a very short length of time.

    "Loud noise" ?
Is it a sharp crack or pop?

I'd love to see this one; presence of a color problem points to video problems, the sound, to audio problems.
Since both are affected, it does still sound like a power supply problem because the two have little else in common. I don't have an immediate suggestion beyond that.
This kind of trouble can come from the failure of a solder joint (or two) but to see the condition of those would require some diasassembly of the unit and I am reluctant to encourage that without being able to give you a good starting point.
Sorry - this 'sage' must withdraw - :-(

Loud noise is possibly made by Degausing Coil to demagnetize picture tube and its normal.
Green tint shows picture tube is bit weak in electron emission due to its age and takes time to present good white balance result (good colors)

Seven Blinks: High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k and the unit goes immediately into shutdown. Check power supply and horizontal circuits.
