Its problem of connections. find yellow wire in player's rear connector and hook it always 12 volt as its supply to memory of player.

The vehicle has a constant power source that needs to be connected to the radio. If a fuse has disconected the circuit then you will lose your "memory" for your radio. Look in the owners manual for the fuse box locations. Use a light to find the fuse that has disconnected the circuit.

How so I set the clock on a Jvc kd-s15 cd player

Hello... sorry to hear you are having problems. What you will need to do is to power the radio up and press the "sel" button and hold it. It will take you to the main menu where you will then use the left and right button (the one that changes the radio stations) until it tells you "clock h" then turn the volume knob to set the hour, then press the right arrow again and it should say "clock m" then turn the volume knob to set the minutes. After that, press the "sel" button again and it will take you out of the menu. Hope this helped!

I installed my wharfedale ICS182 today but everytime i turn the ignition off and then back on my radio stations and bluetooth settings are gone. How do i stop this happening??

Swap the battery and accessory lead positions in the ISO header plug. This is easily done by pressing the pins out from the plug side using a fine bladed screwdriver.

_MANY_ cars have these 2 wired the "wrong" way in their radio socket. It's far easier to move the radio's wires than the socket's ones.

There is interferance in th esytem that is causing this effect. If the noise is coming while in motion then the noise is induced from the electrics of the vehicle.
Check or add a 0.47mfd/100Volt capacitor which is a clip type to the power into the set. If not use a DC/DC isolator or even a inductance coil with a capacitor , one you can salvage from an old set.
Make sure the antennae is good and the local reception is strong. If not the static might dominate.

Hi there,

Well there's lots of possible reasons. The FM receiver portion of the radio is separate from the AM Band receiver, pre-amp, and amplifier sections of the radio. The FM receiver may have simply failed, as well as the CD player portion of the radio. Your car FM needs repair, you need a multimeter to check it or take it to a repair person. Please post further comments for further help or information......

Good Luck!!

Thanks

If it's a new install, ensure your antenna cable is plugged into rear of unit. If it still doesn't work, may be faulty antenna cable.
