This is either from the spring under the button being worn out or broken. or if the button and sleeve it depresses into is not clean. Try removing the button and checking to see if the spring is in working order. If the button is a contained unit and you do not have access to the spring, make sure that it is clean. If that doesn't work then you will need to replace the button. Check to see if you are still under warranty and maybe you can get a replacement free of charge or if the unit is new enough you may get a new unit altogether. I hope this gets you grillin again.

Weber grill will not light

you have to narrow down the problem.when you turn the propane on first at the tank (make sure lid is OPEN) and then turn on the burner control are you smelling gas ? If yes then its simply ignition (BBQ lighter to light manually) if no smell are you sure there is propane in the tank ? Can still feel like fuel inside when empty.if you smell gas but won t light check your venturi valves for spider nests, etc if it sat outside for the winter.it will stop the propane from coming thru the burner.Good luck (my money would be no fuel ) please let me know !

Ignition button not working, however the bbq will light with a match. I have replaced the old gas bottle and this is still an issue?

Sounds like you need to replace the igniter. If the gas lights with a match, there's nothing wrong with the gas bottle. line or burner.

I have a 3week old Webber Q220 bbq and it does not ignite - Plenty of gas but igniter does not work - what to do please?

If it's no longer sparking, then it sounds like your igniter battery is dead. Unscrew the igniter button and replace the battery.

Hi, I have just bought a Weber 100 BBQ. I have a

You have a couple of questions. In order: 1. Flame may not be visible because it burns very clean. 2. When they say 'turn gas off', they actually mean 'turn gas tank off'. 3. It's not necessary to remove the tank after every use. Just make sure the gas valve is off and the entire grill and tank are covered. I do remove the tank, and store it in an outdoor shed during the winter.

Weber gas grill will not ignite

you will probably have to get a new igniter or try to adjust the one you have. there is a little electrode on the igniter that needs to be clean and a certain distance away to work properly.

Weber gas bbq

Hello stevie66, disconnect the gas tank, carefully remove the burner element (the thing with the small holes) and soak it in a bowl of vinegar overnight. Remove and shack the excess out, remount and connect the gas. Open the gas line about 1/4 turn and CAREFULLY LIGHT. Please E-Mail the results. Thank you.
