Question about Sony KP-41T65 41" Rear Projection Television
Well hard to say really without more to go on so I'll just be able to guess as what i've seen or had with this set. Most of the time when you lose Picture and still have sound its a vertical sweep fault. The set cuts out the brightness so the tubes dont get burn lines in them. Another fault could be with the HI Voltage distribution block. Now to fix it if you know how to read a schematic then you can buy one get a multimeter and start taking some voltage measurements around the Vert output. If you never done anything like this then You'll have to decide if you wanna spend more money on a sets thats only seven years old? Good Luck
