Question about Olympus Camedia C-750 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera
Camera worked fine, switched off, powered back on but then Zoom seemed to be sticking. Motor was trying to work but nothing happening then bleeped. No error message on display. Can view pictures taken but other than that it seems stuck. Help!
If you dont have rechargable NiMH batteries get these first. Alkalines just dont have the power anymore these newer devices need. If you do have NiMH and yours still having problems try and tap on the lenses as you power it on. As the motors that drive the autofocus and the lens mechanisim wear they draw more current. When this happens the unit draws more power then the batteries can supply and you run into problems. If your camera has a battery pack you may need a new one. They test them new and everything is good on paper but after some use things change.
